The research tried to understand how it is the relationship between the traditional ideas of masculinity and feminity in a local rock scene and how those traditional ideas continue describing women and men in terms of strong and passive activity even in a context of aparent liberty and equality. With a cualitative aproach, the teorethical support of this work are the notions of youth, gender and rock music studies.
