Los dos pueblos de Cristo: representaciones políticas y religiosas de la misa tradicional en la Parroquia de Nuestra Señora del Perpetuo Socorro
Thesis
This monograph analyzes the representational practices of the Perpetúo Socorro parish in the La Soledad neighborhood in Teusaquillo, where the traditional mass of the Catholic Church takes place. This document presented two different moments, but equally interconnected by the stories of the laity and priests of the parish: the mystery of the sacramental life and the construction of laity. The first moment refers to the reconstruction of the traditional ritual, the use of the sacred language as Latin and education in the sacraments. The other time, it refers to faith as knowledge that encompasses both a position regarding liturgical practices within the Church and the recognition of religious authority in secular society.
