  • The present paper wants to study the possibility of the Israeli’s identity reconfiguration based on the role that a country like Egypt plays in the Middle East. By adopting Alexander Wendt’s vision on constructivism, we can emphasize on the interactions and the others’ view and by placing the Israeli identity in the middle of the document. In this way, perceptions allows us to explain the identity construction that shapes the regional scene. Lastly, we may resolve the relation and importance of the identity in foreign policy reflected in the Israeli behavior regarding key actors in the region, like, Iran, Syria and Saudi Arabia.
