In addition to being a phenomenon of the digital age, Big Data is a disruptive technological innovation that has impacted all areas of economic and social life. Although its most obvious effects are manifested in the emergence of the digital economy, Big Data also has the potential to generate a new model of public administration, which we have called here the Datified public administration. In the case of Colombia, Big Data public policies (Open Government, Data Exploitation, Smart Cities) have the potential to promote innovation processes that not only radically transform the dynamics prevailing in the public administration, but could also have important repercussions on Administrative Law and on the current model of State.
