  • In organizations innovations constitute a determining factor of development and perpetuity, however, many companies in the world suffer pathologies such as imitation, which leads them to loose this distinguishing characteristic, to which Colombian companies are not immune. This is why the study of a business´s morbidity is of vital importance, process that must generate the necessary knowledge for companies to establish the needed strategies for a managerial conduct towards sustainable development. The study of imitation within the morbidity of organizations, is fundamental in providing tools of improvement, thus, the research done is of great consequence within the growing rivalry to which companies are confronted, amongst them health organizations. This research was conducted with the objective of affording an integral vision of the potential cause, as well as of the possible consequences, of the phenomenon of managerial imitation towards the converging strategy and overcrowding, for which a preventive approach requires having a clear and deep knowledge of the pathogenesis of the pathology, which is considered possible by virtue of this study, which was performed according to the model of comparison between diseases in living organisms and changes in business, applied at the University of Rosario through business epidemiology observatory.
