The following research aims to identify, to study and analysis of the major mistakes of the Colombian managers in the administration and management of the companies today, which is divided into four parts: the first refers to the conceptualization of research topic at the theoretical level about the definition that has been given to the significance of managerial mistake and to answer a set of myths epistemological type, ie, those related to meanings or concepts that are attempts from another point of view but in contrast to that effect was originally proposed allowing to establish the limits of what it really means in the investigation. Then, a contrasting and theoretical analysis of the authors and studies that seek to answer the research question focused on the major mistakes of the Colombian managers in organizations today is done. In the third instance, the results obtained by the application of the instrument for the detection and analysis of errors in management organizations or companies that were studied with their managers, according to the methodology used in this case. Finally, a proposed change to correct found and analyzed managerial mistakes in the Colombian context management towards corporate sustainability and to avoid errors appears again.
