  • This analysis forms the second part of an investigation that inquires the motivations of a group of psychology students at the Rosario University (UR) to attend extracurricular activities. Sought to identify the reasons for attending and not attending such activities reported by these students in their answers to open questions in the survey conducted MASAEC. The group is form by 131 students. Data were analyzed by creating categories based on student responses to open questions. For purposes of this report should be considered that not all students answered the open questions, only 92 of the 131 students surveyed did. The results indicate that activities contribute to staff training, generate psychological wellbeing, enrich relationships, new experiences and are mean of personal choice, are important reasons to attend extracurricular activities.
