abstract

  • This project seeks to analyze and develop strategies to reduce physical particle pollution in the production plant of the company PELPAK SA generating a solution that lasts over time as it is controlled, checked, maintained and involves organizational processes. For this, a number of strategies are set according to the needs of the company concerning its infrastructure features, general equipment, and production plant. The theoretical foundation for the previous matter will be the AIB International standard, with specific focus on the segments that are relevant to the development of the project. When formulating strategies, it is essential to ensure the protection of the pack in the periods of greatest vulnerability related to exposure to pollution sources. The scope of this project covers the reduction of strange bodies in the production plant, since they represent counterproductive pollution in the process. To achieve such a result it is a must to determine why, who, where and how the detrimental objects are generated in order to eliminate, mitigate and control them. This research returned eight strategies to take into account. The goal of each is to improve the environment of work, avoid contaminating the container, and achieve its protection throughout the different stages of the process, identifying the critical points. Cleaning and general maintenance of ceiling, floors, and walls is the common denominator of the strategies proposed in this study.
