This paper discusses the relationship between breast cancer, path of life and femininity. It is argued that the path of life has an important impact in the experience of illness and femininity. The methodology that I used in the investigation was an ethnography with different six stories of life. It also analyzes and outstanding the importance of subjectivity in the experience of illness and embodiment.
