abstract

  • This study is born with the purpose of analyzing the influence that has the American economy in our country; to deal for what United States is the most important commercial partner for Colombia in terms of exports and to evaluate the impact that has had in Free Trade Agreement in the economy of these countries. Bearing the previous thing, it was decided to do an analysis focused between Colombia and United States, specifically on Connecticut, Colorado, Delaware, South Dakota, and Florida. On the other hand, it shows numbers of the Colombian´s balance of trade with United States from the years 2010 to 2014, which allow to analyze the economic interaction between both countries, its evolution in the time and the behavior after the entry into force of the Free Trade Agreement. Which allows to demonstrate that for 2014 the balance of trade presented deficit of 4. 807 million USD. On the other hand, they present numbers of the commercial scale of Colombia with The United States, which allow to analyze the economic interaction between both countries, his evolution in the time and his behavior after the entry into force of the Agreement of Free Trade. With base to this, inside the commercial opportunities of export for Colombia, one finds the textile industry, with a percentage of 30, 9 %; seats of wood, furniture and ended, with an increase of 24, 73 %.
