The objective of this document is to explain the importance of Organizational Identification in a company and how it has been defined by the most recognized and specialized authors in the concept from the fifties, to understand what were the similarities and differences that these authors have over the years. After analyzing the definitions, the importance of the concept for organizations, employees, and the positive impact it can generate on their colleagues and within the organization will be described.
