The Rosario University (Universidad del Rosario) and the Cundinamarca Government Office (Gobernación de Cundinamarca) undertook a project to be developed in three municipalities: Machetá, Sesquilé and Mesitas del Colegio, The Project Healthy Municipality and Local Development Pole, has four axes. The Faculty of Administration implements the Axis 1, which is related to employment and income generation. The present research has as main object evaluate and analyze the conditions of the potato producers in the municipality of Machetá. Is important to point that in this municipality there are huge problems of development at an economic level, needs an intervention, is because this that appears the idea of make a production project for improve the primary sector in the region, in such a way as to encourage improvements in the life quality of the potato farmers and their families.
