The Colombian state has a sanction capacity which has been create to be exerted by the president of the republic. Sometimes thanks to the figure of the delegation, those sanction faculties are delivered to the governors, to the mayors of the districts and also to the mayors of the municipalities, who act as legal representatives of the territorial entitles which are the unique that exist in Colombia. This task will evaluate the capacity of sanction on an specific topic as it is the sanctioning procedure of foods. Procedure that is similar in its legal structure to all the territorial entitles, but on its applications, it presents different characteristics.
