Sexuality and reproduction are intimately linked to the quality of life, both in the realm of the individual and the social, so the sexual and reproductive health is an essential tool for assessing a country's development component and a priority in global and national political agenda as evidenced by the millennium development goals and sustainable development; although the country has made tremendous progress on the issue, even great challenges for achievement and enjoyment of sexual and reproductive rights in the study population. The aim of this study is to describe and analyze some indicators of sexual and reproductive health in the department of Casanare, in the period 2008- 2015. As a transversal descriptive design methodology was used, the data were taken from departmental SIVIGILA, DANE and Statistics National Institute of Health. SPSS version 18 and Excel for data analysis was used. As a result high rates of HIV prevalence and incidence, gestational syphilis and adolescent fertility in the department of Casanare that exceed national indicators and have found growing trend.
