abstract

  • This paper aims to explain how irregular tactics are used in hybrid wars, taking as an example the intervention in Afghanistan by the United States, in order to generalize the principles that govern the majority of the conflicts today, and to be able to understand the tendencies in which combat will be developed in the future. These tactics are used as a tool in combat because insurgent groups, such as the Taliban, have a clear asymmetry of power against the capabilities of its contenders, in this case United States, and a military victory by conventional means is precluded. To base the position, it will be used mainly the documentary work integrated with hermeneutical process and to complement the process of theorization with the practical knowlege.
