The present research assessed management mistakes in Megaexpress S.A.S. and Merca Express Ltda., enterprises categorized in the micro, small and medium enterprises group in Bogota, Colombia, which belong to massive consumption sector, the first one in retail sales and the second one in distribution to wholesaler. The research started from the interest of the researchers in knowing about the relationship between academy and real sector, and how the academy helps manager to improve their practices in decision making when they face the business reality. The study of management mistakes began in the analysis of management theory about the topic presented by the different authors that conform the reference framework, as to which mistakes were and their solution or improvement, the researchers used the tool, matrix convergences and divergences, for that analysis, from the matrix it is deduced the survey, research instrument, applied to manager and chiefs with personnel in charge of Megaexpress S.A.S. y Mercaexpress Ltda., in order to confirm in which mistakes make the business and get to give recommendations for improve their decision making process and so contribute to the perdurability of the enterprises.
