This paper identifies the effect of ProColombia's export promotion strategy on the Colombian export performance. To do this, a coarsened exact matching (CEM) was used as a data matching technique, and a comparison of weighted means between treatment and control units was used as the analysis mechanism. It is found that the management of ProColombia increases the exports of the companies that are part of the treatment group, in USD 363,950 and diversifies it's exports in 0,9 more products.
