abstract

  • Introduction: At the industrial level, it is observed how the work presents technological and scientific advances that have brought about changes in the companies, which has led them to rethink their structure, achieving higher levels of competitiveness. Based on these changes, the methodologies for determining occupational profiles, which favor productivity and facilitate the comparison between job profile requirements and people's competencies, are considered important. Objective: To identify the scientific production on evaluation processes used in the design of occupational profiles. Methodology: literature review with systematic search in which the MeSH and DeCS descriptors “job description”, job analysis ”,“ occupational competence analysis profiles ”,“ methodology ”and“ structure ”were defined, to search the databases : Redalyc, Proquest, Lilacs, WHOLis, Dialnet, ILO, Ibecs, Scielo and Scopus. Articles containing information on the evaluation tools used, the functions, skills or competencies addressed as evaluation categories in the profiles, articles published between 1990 and 2018, in English and Spanish language, in full text were selected. Results: Thirty-eight (38) articles were obtained. The theoretical references on which the occupational profiles are based are: theories based on cognitive engineering, ergonomics fundamentals from the analysis of the task and the management approach by competences. Conclusion: Findings related to the qualification processes that facilitate the weighting are identified, but it is necessary to continue investigating the evidence, which allows to measure more accurately, the evaluation categories addressed in the methodologies.
