Psoriasis is a disease characterized by chronic and excessive local and systemic inflammation. Found in the literature a relationship between psoriasis and the development of diseases such as diabetes mellitus type 2 and poor control of these diseases, which increases the morbidity and mortality of these patients. The present study showed no association between psoriasis and control of DM2 was found, and that the most significant variable on the control is hypoglycemic treatment adherence.
