This analysis of the coverage of the newspaper El Diario de Boyacá investigates the frames that are used to approach cycling in a regional Colombian environment. Therefore, it describes the relationship between the frames and the national identity, based on the journalistic coverage of cycling in Colombia, for which it consists of the appeals to the national identity in the coverage of Colombian cycling made by El Diario during 2017; and identifies the frameworks present in the journalistic coverage of cycling in El Diario de Boyacá.
