abstract

  • Organizations assume the role of permanently evolving and persisting in the world in which we live throughout time. An alternative to this is found through activities directed towards interest groups and the organization itself. It is this interest which drives the creation of this study, to analyze strategies from the concepts of some representative intellectuals, the existing models and typologies, as well as the example of viable organizations which, through healthy practices, achieve the goals of activities directed towards improving the well-being of their employees, the environment, benefactors, consumers as well as the community itself. With the objective of establishing the existing relationship between healthy practices and corporate strategy, some empirical and academic studies must be taken into account. This is because they are related to the application and execution of healthy practices that contribute to the organization´s strategy. To study said relationship, a field study was conducted in a healthy company which took 134 employees of said enterprise as a sample. The results pointed out that three of the four healthy practices, like a developmental plan, employees, environment, not having relevant relationship with strategy, practicing with the community, providers and consumers from the onset that was more meaningful. It is important to carry on with other investigations about this topic, with the purpose of further analyzing how the healthy practices are or are not related with the organizations strategy.
