This document seeks to see the scope of targeted social programs and conditional transfer in women's political participation. For this, it analyzes the case of the Familias en Acción program in Colombia between 2007-2014, using estimates of a union of cross sections and a pseudo panel, both constructed with data from LAPOP and CEDE. The results show a significant and positive relationship in attendance to some of the civil organizations. About the relationship with voting, it is also positive but only significant in the union of cross-sections. Additionally, the possible mechanisms that can explain this relationship are discussed.
