  • Blue Leaf is a project consisting in the elaboration and direct sale of natural fruit beverages in a Food Truck in Bogota. The idea was born after reviewing some current trends in the local market, such as Juicing and Fitness culture, and identifying increasing problems regarding people’s eating habits. Blue Leaf, therefore, appears as a healthy, natural, practical and different food alternative. Initially, the business will have a portfolio of 12 drinks separated in three categories. The first one will have nutritional drinks with high nutritional contents that serve as a practical and healthy source of nutrition; the second one will have functional drinks, designed to provide specific health benefits like detoxification, contribute to weight loss and help strengthen defenses; and third one will have beverages that serve as a natural and practical source of energy, with have high levels of vitamins and minerals that allow consumers to quickly recharge and continue with their daily activities. Additionally, Blue Leaf offers consumers the opportunity to make their own drinks, giving them the possibility to choose from more than 50 ingredients among bases, fruits, vegetables, herbs, seeds, additions and sweeteners. The project is led by Paola Higuera Rodriguez and David Santiago Soto, students of the School of Management of Rosario University.
