  • Introduction: musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs) represent one of the most common diseases in the working population, wich can have an impact on labor cost-effectiveness and worker health. Objective. to dertemine the prevalence of musculoeskeletal disorders and theri relationship with occupational factors in the health personnel of a highly complex clinic in the city of Popayan, 2017. Methods an observational descriptive study was carried out. Sociodemographic, ocuppational varialbes and those related to musculoeskeletal symptoms were included. The information was collected through the Nordic questuinnaire for muscular skeletal complaints. The means of central tendency and dispersion were obtained. The categorical variables werw presented as proportions. The popularion was divide based on the presence or absence of (MSDs) and the difference in variables was estimated using Chi2 or Fischer tes (categorial variables) as appropriate and the Mann-Whitney tes( continuos variables ), taking as significant difference p 0.05. The analysis was preformed using the statistical package Stata 14.0 (StataCorp,TX) Results: 169 workers werw surveyed, 94 (55,6%)
