  • Leadership studies have addressed the interaction between the so-called leader and his followers. Within this relationship have been studied the skills of the leader and its impact as a coach. Nowadays, a great number of studies and approaches can be evidenced around the term coaching, concept, theoretical frameworks, models, etc.Initially an investigative process is defined in which coaching is defined from the point of view of several authors, experts and managers that are developed in the business field in order to find a definition that includes all the dimensions of the organizational world,Next, a systematic search of the definitions of coaching will be made and from this search will propose an integrative definition that gives account of the diverse fields of the study of the leadership.Reviewing the terminology in terms of leadership and coaching, along with their direct relationship there is no definition that really covers the whole organizational issue that involves these two words.
