Throughout this work the international cooperation provided by the United States to Colombia as part of a strategy called Colombia , was expected to be a tool for the Colombian State to contain drug trafficking and its harmful effects on society analyzed Plan and thus revive the national economy through the development of legitimate markets . It was necessary to refer to how cooperation between the two countries developed since its inception.
