This report describes the experience of my internship at the Life Sciences Chamber of Research Ethics Committee of the Universidad del Rosario (hereinafter the CEI-UR or the Committee), between the months of February and November 2023. Throughout this document, reflections are presented on what was learned during the internship, and a series of recommendations or suggestions are put forward that, by virtue of what was experienced, will help to improve the quality of the work of the Committee.
