This case study seeks to demonstrate how digital diplomacy has been used to represent US foreign policy and how through this is inserted a change of image and message to Iran during the administration of Barack Obama. Through the use of new communication technologies and information, which allowed disseminate the content to a specific Iranian public. Also they considered as instruments of soft power and smart diplomacy because persuasion is used to achieve the objectives of this administration. In addition, it is also intended to demonstrate which have been the scopes and limits has digital diplomacy in the Iranian environment.
