abstract

  • This monograph understands covid-19 as a social experience that brought with it effects on the daily lives of several people in Colombia who make up a community of conversation created for this research. These people do not mean the pandemic only as a public health problem. Therefore, the accounts of this community of conversation are presented in order to identify their notion of the disease, taking into account different perspectives such as their relationship with the State, the ideas of care that arose in their environment and the transformations in their beliefs throughout the first year and a half of the pandemic. For this, we start with what are called the temporalities of the pandemic, which begin with the confinement from March to September 2020, followed by the reactivation from October 2020 to February 2021, and ending with a third peak in the middle of the vaccination that occurs between March and July 2021
