  • In the current organizational context, which is characterized as hyper-connected, changing, globalized and full of uncertainty, the ability of organizations to identify and treat risk profitably is necessary and unavoidable. Such clearer: adequately manage risk becomes critical to the sustainability of organizations. Beyond the traditional understandings of risk, whose core is the financial risk, new trends and general -more generals- it has been developed in recent decades. One of the most prominent is the management of systemic risk. Despite this recognition, however, continue to dominate the analytic-financial approaches, especially in the Latin American context. This paper aims, therefore, to make an analysis of systemic risk management and identify the different trends and potential risks facing the current organizational environment.
