  • ABSTRACT: A cross-sectional study was done in four preschool educational institutions in the municipality of Chía Cundinamarca during the second period of 2012, to compare the presence of different degrees of stress and symptomatology in teachers, by applying The Ministry of Social Protection`s assessment of stress questionnaire, and The National survey of working conditions from The National Institute of Occupational Safety and Health of Spain (INSHT).The study found 66% high levels of stress compared to 34% low levels of stress, and the frequent symptoms were pain in the back, neck and musle tension.
