abstract

  • In political philosophy we can be distinguished two large currents of thought that are liberal theories, humanist, and the Real Politik which we can be described as anti-humanist. Particularly of this latter, of the Carl Schmitt’s work, it has emerged the concept of exception to designate the constituent element of the political community, which also happens to be supportive the concept of the political as friend and enemy relationship. This work searches to articulate concept of exception to developments of psychoanalytic theory of the subject while determined by the signifier and, referring to structural lack that defines the signifier chain, it will be displayed how the political is linked to the impossible and the exceptional nature of the subject, in so far as it exists in symptom which separates him from the political community at the same time is the spring of the social bond. With these elements in background, we advance a critique to the concept of the political that the liberalism has developed, for which it will address some representatives of the liberal thought whose expose the concepts that define this current of political philosophy.
