End stage chronic kidney disease has been rising its numbers worldwide and nationally, meanwhile the number of organ donors has been showing a decrease in its numbers, and the wait-listed number of patients are growing every day. Cadaveric organ donors are a good option for these patients, and are used in order to increase the number of organs available for transplantation. The evaluation of the quality of these organs for transplantation is critical in order to optimize its use. This is a retrospective cohort study in which we calculated de Kidney Donor Profile Index (KDPI) in cadaveric organ donors, with creatinine follow up at 1 month, 3 months, 6 months and a year. We then analyzed graft survival, renal function, KDPI and EPTS. Finally, we analyzed graft and patient survival and a logistic regression using variables from de donor, recipient and surgical procedure.
