Currently, with the requirement to base health on evidence, an effective use of information is necessary so that decision-making is generated efficiently, for this reason, information systems are not enough by themselves, they demand a culture adequate for the use and processing of information (Bernal-Acevedo & Forero Camacho, 2011). The institution in which the proposal will be made is a private entity within the General System of Social Security in health (SGSSS), with several business centers directly related to the provision of low and medium complexity services within which we can find: basic and specialized outpatient consultation, care of the first level of complexity, home care program and delivery of medications; geographically it is located in the municipalities of: Neiva, Campoalegre, Garzón, La Plata, Pitalito in the department of Huila and Florencia in the department of Caquetá
