Making use of documentary sources produced in Colombia between 1905 and 1948 , the objective of this research is to introduce the reader to the emergence of one of the practices used by doctors and hygienists , with which sought to fight infant mortality educating the Colombian population on the care, development and feeding of children , and the protection of women in the first half of the twentieth century.
