  • In Colombia we can find a high number of medium and small companies created, but a high percentage of this companies do not last for many years and they close, showing a high degree of morbidity of Colombian companies. According to the Global Entrepreneurship Monitor – GEM , 10.52% of the companies that are born in Colombia do not last many years, for this reason the study of Colombian enterprise´s perdurability helps us to identify which are the key component that have had during their lifetime and how these have helped them to last. Achieving to help the correct set up for PYMES and be able to help decreasing the unemployment rate. The Perdurability research group of the Universidad Del Rosario has identified the following 13 components: Organizational identity, Government Formalization, Social Cohesion for Action, Environment and industry, differentiation, Employees Social Dynamics, Factors that contribute to the Efficiency, Consolidation, Integral Management, Environment and Market Knowledge, Efficiency in Processes and Financial Management. With this information collected and surveys applied, we obtained information of Grupo Empresarial Oikos S.A. employees to determine which components were found in the company and which had major relevance, corroborating if these 13 components are helping to measure the Colombian enterprise perdurability.
