  • Introduction: They were skilled in Colombia with loss of earning capacity (PCL) Permanent Partial Disability (5% -49%), 54,272 cases, of which the Department of Meta 730 cases were scored. Objective: To establish the sociodemographic and occupational factors associated with PCL rating of occupational diseases and common origin by the Regional Disability Qualification Board of Meta (JRCIM) (2012-2013). Methodology: transverse, observational court, with a population sample of 1,140 records qualified with loss of working capacity between 2012-2013 people, information was collected by the database JRCIM qualified in patients, which inquired about sociodemographic, labor and percentage of PCL factors. Results: 73.6% of the population were male, economic activity that prevailed was that of domestic services with 76.5%, the majority held the position of various trades to 6%, 53.7% were rated with PCL 16 - 30%. No statistically significant association between the percentage of PCL and labor and socio-demographic factors are evident. Conclusions: The rating of PCL, Meta is marked by factors such as age and male gender also economic activity that prevailed was the domestic, transport and education services, these sectors must be tapped in terms of epidemiological surveillance prevent states of partial permanent incapacity and invalidity.
