abstract

  • Describes the effects of a 12-week strength physical exercise program and an aerobic-type physical exercise program on two patients with metabolic syndrome to analyze changes in diagnostic parameters according to the IDF. For which it analyzes the possible changes in waist circumference in a short duration (12 weeks) program of aerobic physical exercise and physical strength exercise, in order to relate the decrease in cardiometabolic risk linked to this parameter. Analyzes changes in blood glucose level through pre and post program measures of aerobic and strength physical exercise to relate this result to the increase or decrease in cardiovascular risk in patients with MeTs. Analyzes changes in blood pressure in a short duration (12 weeks) program of aerobic physical exercise and strength physical exercise to relate this result to the cardiovascular risk of patients with MeTs. It measures and evaluates the changes in triglycerides, HDL and LDL before and after a 12-week program of strength and aerobic physical exercise and its relationship as a cardiometabolic risk parameter in metabolic syndrome.
