  • Hyperprolactinemia has been proposed as a triggering factor for autoimmune dis-eases. The increased levels of prolactin could induce an abnormal immune response. Herein, we present a patient with hyperprolactinemia who developed polyautoim-munity.   • La hiperprolactinemia se ha propuesto como un factor desencadenante de las enfermedades autoinmunes. El aumento de los niveles de prolactina podría inducir una respuesta inmune anormal. Aquí presentamos a un paciente con hiperprolactinemia que desarrolló la poliautoimunidad. Los síntomas de la paciente se asociaron con niveles ligeramente elevados de prolactina (20-40 ng/mL) y la administración de agonistas dopaminérgicos.
