Perfil Profesional

  • Professor David Andrade is a mathematician from Univerdad Nacional de Colombia (Bogotá). He has a master's degree in mathematics from the same institution and a Ph.D. in applied mathematics from IMPA in Brazil. He has had postdoctoral positions at IMPA (Brazil), the Technion -- Israel Institute of Technology (Israel), and the University of Plymouth (UK).

    Dr. Andrade's research centres around applied mathematics, with a particular emphasis on fluid dynamics, partial differential equations, and scientific computing. He has authored several research papers about ocean waves and nonlinear dynamics. Currently he is faculty member of mathematics at Universidad del Rosario where he joined in January of 2023.
