Este proyecto de investigación busca utilizar las herramientas de la sociología reflexiva de Pierre Bourdieu y la metodología de las “biografías colectivas” propuesta por Yves Dezalay y Bryanth Garth para un estudio multidisciplinario de las Relaciones Internacionales en el contexto de la emergencia de la diplomacia indígena en América Latina. Estas biografías colectivas se elaboran a partir de tres ejes de análisis:1- La estructuración nacional de los sistemas jurídicos y políticos, y la circulación internacional de saberes, profesionales y expertos. 2– Los tipos de reclutamiento de las elites políticas tradicionales y la llegada de agentes sociales atípicos al campo político y jurídico (líderes indígenas). 3–La reestructuración del campo jurídico y político (nacional e internacional) a través de la consolidación de una diplomacia indígena en la región. Nuestra metodología consiste en elaborar una biografía colectiva de los protagonistas que hacen parte del universo de la diplomacia indígena, sin dejar de lado el análisis de dispositivos institucionales o académicos que contribuyen a constituir o remodelar las instituciones. Se trata por el contrario de inscribir esta biografía colectiva en un análisis de larga duración. La pertinencia de esta metodología radica en resaltar las homologías existentes entre las disposiciones de los agentes sociales y las estructuras del Estado en las cuales se inscriben los saberes que éstos producen. Esta metodología ya trabajada en el marco de nuestra tesis doctoral sobre la construcción social de los derechos de los Pueblos Indígenas y el análisis del caso colombiano quiere ser complementada con un diálogo permanente y una co-producción de la investigación con las organizaciones indígenas (básicamente con la participación de la ONIC) y más precisamente la participación de un investigador indígena asociado
This research project seeks to use the tools of Pierre Bourdieu's reflective sociology and the methodology of "collective biographies" proposed by Yves Dezalay and Bryanth Garth for a multidisciplinary study of International Relations in the context of the emergence of indigenous diplomacy in Latin America. These collective biographies are elaborated from three axes of analysis:1- The national structuring of legal and political systems, and the international circulation of knowledge, professionals and experts 2- The types of recruitment of traditional political elites and the arrival of atypical social agents in the political and legal field (indigenous leaders). 3- The restructuring of the legal and political field (national and international) through the consolidation of an indigenous diplomacy in the region. Our methodology consists of elaborating a collective biography of the protagonists that are part of the universe of indigenous diplomacy, without leaving aside the analysis of institutional or academic devices that contribute to constitute or remodel the institutions. On the contrary, it is a matter of inscribing this collective biography in a long-term analysis. The relevance of this methodology lies in highlighting the homologies that exist between the dispositions of social agents and the structures of the State in which the knowledge they produce is inscribed. This methodology, which has already been worked on in the framework of our doctoral thesis on the social construction of the rights of indigenous peoples and the analysis of the Colombian case, is intended to be complemented with a permanent dialogue and co-production of the research with indigenous organizations (basically with the participation of ONIC) and more precisely with the participation of an associated indigenous researcher
