Perfil Profesional

  • Profesor titular de carrera de la Facultad de Ciencias Naturales. Sus intereses de investigación están enfocados en tres áreas: entender si las plantas usan los recursos de manera eficiente y utilizar principios de optimización para escalar la fotosíntesis del nivel de hojas al nivel de ecosistemas; cuantificar y modelar diferentes componentes del ciclo de carbono en ecosistemas tropicales terrestres; relacionar los rasgos funcionales de las plantas con imágenes obtenidas con sensores remotos para estimar diferentes servicios ecosistémicos.
