Graduate Diploma in Cardiac and Pulmonary Rehabilitation  |  Degree

The Cardiac and Pulmonary Rehabilitation program corresponds to the actions carried out by physiotherapists within interdisciplinary teams that work with people who are at risk of suffering a debilitating episode or have an existing disability of cardiac or pulmonary origin, through analysis of the individual, social and contextual determinants as well as the functional, social and political implications. The methodologies used during the program provide in-context learning (in line with the social, mental and physical situation in the various groups). Students are provided with scientific grounds with a practical approach that enhances active and motivated work. Professors of the graduate diploma develop autonomy, critical judgment and clinical reasoning in students, through learning by doing and by resolving problems where students apply the knowledge and skills learned continuously and comprehensively during their training.
