The sociology program at the Universidad del Rosario is marked by its interest in the diverse range of modern social problems. A highly-trained team of professors, educated in different schools of sociological thought, facilitate access to the different strands of sociology and to a wide range of authors and topics in the complex social structure and diversity that we face today. Students of the program are able to earnestly study schools and education; social movements; the media; violence and post-conflict; health, science and technology; work; business; the law; migration, individuals and the family, in the broadest terms of political, economic, historic, urban and rural sociology.
