The Graduate Diploma in Urban Law was created with the support and vision of the real sector, resulting in collaboration with the Colombian Chamber of Construction (Camacol). Since its formation, this partnership has formed part of a curriculum that considers the need to strengthen and consolidate knowledge of urban environments by dealing with the main institutions and urban issues that are related to law. The primary focus of the program’s study plan is to generate knowledge of the foundations of law, citizen participation and urbanism and planning. This is achieved through the theoretical and conceptual framework of urban law; knowledge and management of planning, management and financing instruments for territorial development; and further study of closely-related subjects such as urban and environmental legislation, public services, heritage and housing.
