Unknown? is a work written by the director and playwright Sebastián San Juan, which presents Ana Carolina, Diana, Luigi and Miguel; 4 characters that They meet one night in the journalists' park and They discover in each other a refuge and a means through which they can begin to heal their past. During the time they stay together, their stories and memories intertwine to reveal that, although each person have different experiences and experiences, everyone can find the same feeling of hope through of the differences that characterize them. It is important to note that each of the problems faced by the characters come from three fundamental elements: research, observation and experience in the context of society Colombian. As citizens of this country, throughout of our lives we have been able to demonstrate the numerous difficulties that are part of the reality of many Colombians. And while not everything is drawn from personal experiences, we are witnesses to how this affects the physical and mental well-being of people, and how their suffering is often overlooked. It is a common habit for those of us who live in large cities, who rarely step outside our own bubble, to not know or be aware of the very different realities faced by others. We find it hard to detach ourselves from our own reality, which blinds us to the situations faced by thousands of Colombians who live below our scale of privilege. For this reason, we wanted to use our graduation project as a means to bring visibility to four key issues we selected from the many others that affect the lives of thousands of people in Colombia. This choice was made individually, based on the resonance and personal connection each one of us felt with a specific topic, addressing not only our needs as artists but also as Colombians, to reflect in our creation what we feel and think about it. Our hope is that the audience takes away a reflection that will encourage them to inform themselves and become aware of the society they live in, as well as the ways they can contribute to making a difference.
