The fourth industrial revolution attemps to produce big changes at social, economic and political levels. The new tecnological context reveals abrupt transformations over the organizations structure and the direvtive mode. The objective of this paper is to revise the current literature discusing about the new revolution and to identify the posible implications around the directive role in the organizations. The metodolody is based on the review of scientific and professional journals written between 2013-2018. Conclusions and discussion allow to visualize the alternatives proposed by the autors about the transformation of managerial functions in organizations.
