abstract

  • This research project focuses on the study and evaluation of the proposal for the implementation of an information system that will optimize the processes within the Super Nuevo Almacen. Warehouse whose business is the wholesale and retail food merchandising in the wholesale area of Plaza España in Bogotá. It was also necessary to carry out an investigation of the area, to take it into account the movement and the rotation of the market. The reason in addition to optimizing the processes, is to be in vogue of the technological tools that allow to facilitate any type of task, and in this case, to be able to reduce the time which the owners are dedicating to the business. That is why a load analysis was carried out, where it can be seen that the change is a great contribution for both of the main stakeholders, who are the owners and secondly, the clients. A survey was applied to some consumers of the warehouse, with a single question, where they wanted to know their position in relation to the way they liked to be served at the moment of shopping at the supermarket. Through the analysis of the results, it was possible to identify that customers still prefer to have personalized attention to self-service. Considering that the Super Nuevo Almacen, does not have a software that allows to do the aforementioned, the pertinent investigation was carried out to comply with all the standards that the government requests nowadays with respect to electronic invoicing and a software that will accommodate to these needs.
