abstract

  • This research delves into the reintegration processes of female ex-combatants of the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia - People's Army (FARC - EP) after the signing of the peace agreement in 2016. The various intersections between gender issues and identity construction of these women are explored, both during their time in the armed conflict, as well as in their transition to civil society. Through the analysis of academic texts, books, reports, and fragments of interviews with ex-combatants, this research seeks to return to the experiences of female ex-combatants, with the purpose of knowing the causes, effects and consequences of the reintegration process, shedding light on the challenges and obstacles they face on the path to reintegration, highlighting the importance of addressing issues of gender in the construction of a stable and lasting peace in Colombia.
