This literature review focuses on analyzing the determinants of exports, taking into account factors such as export performance, export intensity, and export success, emphasizing in four important recurring concepts, which were: Propensity, intensity, internal and external determinants, and finally export performance. It should be added that other concepts such as product and production sophistication, although not as prevalent, are important in determining the export of products. A variety of concepts and sub-concepts were found in each of the categories described above, so there is a wide variety of determinants (some with more weight than the other) for export.
